Résumé :La Cour Pénale Spéciale de la République Centrafricaine, s’est inscrite dans la dynamique des dernières strates des juridictions pénales à qui, la communauté, fût-elle internationale lui a donné mandat de rendre justice pour prioriser la valeur humaine souvent déniée par les crises. La présente réflexion se propose d’interroger l’apport de la CPS dans la lutte contre l’impunité en Centrafrique. Loin d’être un objet d’inflation institutionnelle juridico-judiciaire, la CPS est une véritable arme contre les crimes graves ayant pour seule cause la négation des droits humains. C’est ainsi qu’elle est pensée par les Nations Unies et les autorités centrafricaines ce d’autant plus que le besoin pressant de la population à un moment donné est que la justice rien que la justice triomphe. Quoique les obstacles ne sont pas loin.

Abstract : The Special Criminal Court of the Central African Republic, is amongst the last stratus of criminal jurisdictions to which, the national and international community has given a mandate to bring justice by prioritizing human values which are often in question during crisis. The following reflection set itself the target of examining the contribution of the special criminal court in the fight against grave crimes in Central Africa Republic. It contends that, far from being an object of legal-judicial institutional inflation, the special criminal court is a real weapon against grave crimes caused by the non-respect of human rights. This is how it was conceived of by the United Nations and the Central African Republic authorities in context of rising demand for justice within the population. However, the court faces a number of challenges which hinder the attainment of its objectives.
