Résumé : Le défi majeur dans la lutte contre le terrorisme réside dans la prise en charge effective de la sécurité par la CEEAC en se dotant d’une capacité de dissuasion, d’anticipation et de gestion des conflits, des actes de brigandage et des menaces terroristes. L’on tente de démontrer que l’émergence de nouveaux enjeux sécuritaires comme le terrorisme, quand il concerne les pays en développement pose souvent beaucoup de problèmes quant à son éradication, la réalité étant que la plupart de ces États sont des États fragiles, d’autres traversant une profonde crise politique, sociale et/ou économique, certains encore se remettant de conflits le cas de la RCA, de la RDC, de Burundi. Il s’agit d’appréhender la capacité de la CEEAC face la question du terrorisme en Afrique Centrale en présentant les actions perceptibles de cette communauté.

Abstract :The major challenge in the fight against terrorism lies in the effective management of security by ECCAS by equipping itself with a capacity for deterrence, anticipation and management of conflicts, acts of banditry and terrorist threats. We attempt to demonstrate that the emergence of new security issues such as terrorism, when it concerns developing countries, often poses many problems in terms of its eradication, the reality being that most of these States are fragile States, others going through a deep political, social and/or economic crisis, some still recovering from conflicts, the case of the CAR, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi. This involves understanding the capacity of the ECCAS to address the issue of terrorism in Central Africa by presenting the perceptible actions of this community.
